In French, knowing the emotions is essential at the beginner level (level A1). Here we present 9 basic emotions to you: joy, anger, sadness, fear, love, surprise, fatigue (tiredness), disgust and stress. For each emotion, we give you one or two examples allowing you to easily express your feelings, mood and emotions.

Thanks to this video, you will learn 9 basic emotions in French and how to make simple sentences to express these emotions. To learn the vocabulary of emotions well and to learn how to simply express your feelings, mood and emotions in French, repeat after the teacher. When the teacher says “la joie”, say “la joie”, when the teacher says “Je suis content”, say “Je suis content”, when the teacher says “Je suis heureux”, say “Je suis heureux”, etc. Thus, you will be able to understand orally and pronounce emotions well in French. To do this well, watch the video several times, repeating each emotion and each example of an expression of an emotion aloud after the teacher.
